Help Olim Wives of Givat Shmuel

While Israel and our incredible soldiers fight for our freedom and protection on multiple fronts there is a battle being fought thats not spoken about enough.

A battle women are fighting on the home front, without their partners, in limbo, keeping their children safe, trying to maintain a sense of normalcy amidst war.

Currently there are 300,000 reservists that have been called up, most of them fathers, many of them from Olim families. While the plight of every women who’s husband is absent is extremely difficult Olim families have another layer of difficulties. Most of the time they do not have family to lean on, or grandparents to call in for help. They are alone and need the support of their communities. That is where we come in. We have begun this initiative to help provide support to Olim Wives in Givat Shmuel. To ensure that they are being cared for and that their needs are being met, whether that is weekly meals, shabbat invitations, weekly shabbat gifts, babysitting help, tutoring, carpool…. etc

As of now we are running this initiative via donations and with the help of so many volunteers. As the war continues and days turn into weeks and months the support needed for these women gets bigger and more costly. Any amount donated goes directly to support these women who are our heroes too. They deserve and need our support while they sacrifice so much and lend their husbands to ensure the safety of our homeland.
